Growing To Better Serve You

Goldenwest is embarking on the largest expansion project in our 77 year history. Our federal regulator, NCUA, officially recognized Goldenwest and USU Credit Unions as a single organization beginning October 1st. Together, we will serve 100,000 members and operate 26 branches from Logan to St George.

The Only Thing Constant Is Change

In 1984, Goldenwest ventured outside of Weber County and opened the first branch located in Davis County. Today, we have six offices in Davis County with branches in Clinton, Clearfield, Layton, Kaysville, Centerville and I’m excited to say ‘now in Bountiful’. With the Bountiful branch opening on August 2nd, we have 21 branch offices across Utah. I invite you to visit this beautiful, full-service office located at 2085 Orchard Drive.

Financial Impacts of the Affordable Care Act

As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we consider it our stewardship to provide timely financial education to our members and the community. As such, Goldenwest Credit Union is hosting a free Health Care Reform Seminar on May 24th. Business owners and managers are invited to attend this seminar, as well as human resource directors and others who are decision makers for health care plans and needs.

Volunteerism is the Credit Union Way

It was a pleasure meeting personally with many of our members at the Goldenwest Annual Meeting last month. During the meeting, Chairman Bill Hart announced that Stoney Wayment and Tony Reynolds were re-elected to the Board of Directors.
