Butterfield Receives USU Alumni Hall of Honor Distinction
LOGAN, UT: February 26, 2015 - USU Credit Union Regional President David Butterfield and his wife Trisha were recently inducted into the Utah State University Alumni Association Hall of Honor. President Stan L. Albrecht presented the award to the Butterfields and other honorees at an on-campus celebration dinner held February 21, 2015.
While attending Utah State University, David Butterfield served as a Student Advocate and Student Body President. David graduated from Utah State University in 1996 with a bachelor's of science degree in English. He has served on several boards at Utah State University, including Advanced Weather Systems and STRATA. David continues to serve the University alumni, faculty, staff and students in his capacity of Regional President for USU Credit Union.
David met his future wife Trisha for the first time at a USU Association of Students leadership event in 1992. Trisha Butterfield graduated from Utah State University in 1994 with a bachelor's of science degree in special education. Her career includes working as a special education teacher at Logan High School followed by joining the staff at Utah State University as an online teacher of paraprofessional classes, advising student teachers, and recruiting new students to the special education program. Trisha has also served on the Alumni Association Executive Board.
David and Trisha are proud to be True Aggies living close to the Utah State University in Cache Valley. They have four children and enjoy boating in the summer and snow skiing in the winter.
