Goldenwest Expands into Pleasant Grove

Pleasant Grove, UTAH: June 13, 2024 – Goldenwest Credit Union marked a significant milestone on June 12th with the inauguration of its newest full-service branch in Utah County, located at 1154 West Pleasant Grove Boulevard.

“We are thrilled to open our fifth branch in Utah County to better support and serve our members living and working in the vibrant City of Pleasant Grove,” declared Goldenwest Kerry Wahlen, President/CEO. “The heart-warming reception from the local business and civic community reconfirms our commitment to contributing meaningfully to the prosperity of this area.”

The grand opening ceremony attracted notable local figures, including Pleasant Grove City Councilman and Chamber of Commerce President Eric Jensen, Mayor Pro Tem Todd Williams, as well as the presence of Miss Pleasant Grove Queen Marissa Brown, alongside her attendants Shaylee Ferrell, Abby Brucker, Danielle Simko, and Ava Cunningham. Goldenwest Chairman Dan Musgrave, and Director Steve Carroll also lent their support at the event. Alvaro “Daniel” Pimentel has been selected to oversee all branch operations and member service initiatives.

In his remarks, Wahlen added that the Credit Union invites new members to join and discover the Goldenwest difference, featuring a variety of promotional offers throughout the coming weeks as the grand opening celebration continues.

Offering a comprehensive suite of services, members can access vehicle loans, mortgages, lines of credit, free checking accounts, instant-issue Visa cards, and insurance services at the branch. Strategically situated within Pleasant Grove’s bustling business district, the new branch provides a modern branch experience along with convenient drive-thru teller lanes and an ATM.
